Dakota Rescue is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation founded in April of 2008. Based in Houston, our organization specializes in the rescue, spay, neuter and education of animals with more emphasis in the low income areas that are in life threatening situations. Through our work, we will empower people with love and support to improve their community with healthier animals and happier lives.

Louise-- Meet Louise - Heeler mix, approx 10 months old. She was found along with her sister in the middle of the highway. Fortunately a very kind person stopped and rescued them before they were hit by a car. This person reached out to many rescue organizations for help but no one could take them in,everyone is full right now with rescues. Dakota Rescue was at an Adoption day at PETCO and she brought them to us. We are also full but couldn't say no to these girls. They are currently living at our Second Chance Ranch. She is up to date on all her shots and is spayed. Please consider giving Louise her forever home.
