Dakota Rescue is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation founded in April of 2008. Based in Houston, our organization specializes in the rescue, spay, neuter and education of animals with more emphasis in the low income areas that are in life threatening situations. Through our work, we will empower people with love and support to improve their community with healthier animals and happier lives.

RESCUE OF THE WEEK

Meet Randy - Chihuahua, approx 2 years old and weighs 8 lbs. He is UTD on all his shots and is scheduled to get neutered the week of August 9th. He was an owner surrender to the Deer Park Animal shelter. They didn't have time for him anymore, how sad. He was scheduled to be put to sleep and they contacted us. We took him in knowing that he was facing the death sentence. He is kennel trained and currently only in a temporary foster home. He needs a foster but preferably his forever home.
